Tips for a Safe Holiday Season

Wolf Technical Services, Inc. extends our best wishes for a joyous holiday.  As we trim the tree, gather around the fireplace and visit friends and family, we offer the following reminders in an effort to ensure a safe holiday season.

  1. Do not use brittle electrical cords. THROW THEM AWAY!! Likewise, do not use cords with frayed ends or broken insulation.
  2. Put new batteries in your smoke alarms.
  3. Clean and inspect your fireplace.
  4. Always unplug Christmas lights before leaving, especially if there are pets remaining in your home.
  5. Unplug coffee makers before leaving home.
  6. Keep combustibles away from heat sources.
  7. Use a flame retardant on live Christmas trees.
  8. When traveling, always use seat belts and place children in certified child safety seats.
  9. Clean headlights and tail lights.  Always keep an ice scraper in your vehicle.
  10. Make sure your car emergency kit is stocked and includes extra blankets and jumper cables.

Everyone at Wolf wishes you a wonderful holiday season and a new year full of peace and happiness!
